Losing focus on safety is literally life-threatening. Since the conditions for the energy industry change at a rapid pace, so must the safety work. Safe Energy will pursue safety issues and challenge conventional ways of thinking.
To create lasting change in an organization, we must adopt a holistic approach. It is not enough to look at structures, technology and organization – the conditions for the individual employee are at least as important.
Lasting changes require broad competence. Our employees have academic qualifications in, among other things, electrical engineering, behavioral science and business development. In addition, they have many years of experience in work environment issues, risk management and practical work in various energy companies. All in all, it gives us the toolbox we need to find solutions that actually work.

Already as a 24-year-old, Tomas Winter had gathered enough experience and competence to get the highest level of authorization that a Swedish electrician can get. But Tomas was not satisfied. During a five-year period, he trained as a civil engineer at electrical power engineering at Chalmers, at the same time as he studied business administration at Handels.
Since 2018, Tomas has been associated with Peritum as a consultant and expert on issues concerning work environment and electrical safety. The arc flash danger has become one of his specialist areas. Today, Tomas works largely in an international setting where his assignments aim to create working methods that harmonize with EU regulations and the legislation in various countries.

Already as a 24-year-old, Tomas Winter had gathered enough experience and competence to get the highest level of authorization that a Swedish electrician can get. But Tomas was not satisfied. During a five-year period, he trained as a civil engineer at electrical power engineering at Chalmers, at the same time as he studied business administration at Handels.
Tomas’ profile fitted in well when Vattenfall was looking for the right person to lead the electrical safety work and work as an electrical installer for compliance at Ringhals. During his seven years at the nuclear power plant, Tomas also had a central role as coordinator for Vattenfall’s electrical safety work in Sweden.
Since 2018, Tomas has been associated with Peritum as a consultant and expert on issues concerning work environment and electrical safety. The arc flash danger has become one of his specialist areas. Today, Tomas works largely in an international setting where his assignments aim to create working methods that harmonize with EU regulations and the legislation in various countries.
ERIK ÖHRLING
Peritum was started in 2005 by Erik Öhrling. Erik is a specialist in using change management to influence behaviors, working methods – and ultimately create business value. He is inspired by driving issues, creating effect and making a difference. The assignments span a number of different organizations and industries.
Erik began his career as an electrician. Already after high school, he started working for a grid company in the northern part of Sweden. Electrical safety became a matter close to his heart. As Erik later trained as a behavioral scientist, his involvement took on a new dimension.
Over the years, Erik as a teacher, leader and consultant has raised issues of electrical safety. Not least, he and Peritum have had a decisive influence on what the electrical safety training looks like today.
